The Party Tents Return Policy
At ThePartyTents.com we make returns as easy as possible. Our mission is to provide you with the best products and the best service in the Party Tents Industry. We understand that customers can change their minds about their purchases. We are aware that customers are cautious about Return Policies since they are often tricky and misleading. Our goal is to make the return or exchange process trustworthy and as simple as 1-2-3.
If you have received something different than your order, please notify us within 10 days of delivery because otherwise we won't be able to take it back.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 days of delivery of your order. For orders placed during the holiday season from November 15th to December 31st, the return period is extended to 15 days. The following rules apply:
- Products must be returned in their original packaging, and original condition.
- All returns must be made via our Return Procedure with a valid RMA number.
- Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment. If the order is already shipped, you will have to ship it back, at your own expense, for a full refund. Order cancellations can only be done via email. We will not listen to our messages in time, or view chat history to cancel orders. Please make sure an email is sent to us before the shipment is made in order to cancel your order.
- ThePartyTents will never pay for return shipping, for any reason whatsoever.
- We do not sell used products and cannot accept returns for used tents. A used product is subject to extra fees which will be determined by ThePartyTents to return the party tent to a brand new state (if possible).
- If you decide to return a product we will deduct a 20% restocking fee. We will also deduct the amount we originally payed to ship the product to you.
- If we judge that the returned, used/damaged product cannot be brought to a "Like New" condition using the 20% restocking fee, then we may charge up to 40% in order to do so.
ThePartyTents.com Return Procedure
To return a product you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The RMA form will include an exact return address and detailed instructions on how to return a product. You may request an RMA using the following Email:
Please let us know which particular item(s) you would like to return and the reason. You will receive an email with an RMA form attached. Please allow 24 to 72 hours for processing since in many instances, we have to wait for a manufacturer's response.
**It is important to know that if you refuse delivery for an order, it will be shipped back to us and the shipper will charge us extra fees. In which case, we will not be able to refund the total amount of the order as we will need to deduct the return shipping cost and the fees charged to us.
ThePartyTents.com's Exchange Procedure
There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:
Option 1 (Slower) – Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to, and include the order number. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is difference in price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.
Option 2 (Faster) – Order the new part so it can be shipped to you right away. Then request an RMA using a standard Return Procedure for the part you would like to return. Upon return of the part a refund will be issued promptly.
Defective, Damaged, Incomplete or Incorrect Products
We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) arrive defective or damaged by the shipping company, do not hesitate to contact us by chat or email. We will immediately attempt to rectify the situation. Picture(s) of the defect(s) will be required.
On all deliveries which require a signature, please make sure you are signing off to the correct amount of boxes. Some of our products are delivered in multiple boxes. If the waybill states that there are 5 boxes, and you sign-off on it but only receive 4 boxes, then we will not be able to rectify the situation. If you find your shipment to be incomplete, please call us right away. If you are unable to get in touch with us while the delivery is being made, please make sure to write near your signature that you are missing a part of your shipment. Try to be specific. For example, you can sign the document and the write near your signature "I am missing 2 boxes from the 5 that are supposed to be delivered today"
Refunds and Credits
After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order (Credit Card or Paypal). The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price, minus any applicable restocking fees, as well as our cost for shipping the product to you. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 3-5 days for the credit to appear on your account. ThePartyTents will not offer reimbursement for any damage acquired during installation or any other use of a product. ThePartyTents reserves the right to charge restocking fees of up to 20% in addition to any fees required to bring the return back to "Like New" status.
